Autograph Hunter
All of our autographs are obtained in person by one of our highly reputable and experienced autograph collectors.

Each day they patrol the streets of Los Angeles hunting for celebrities to sign items destined for the Movie Market website and customers. In Tinseltown there is obviously no shortage of stars and where the experience counts is in knowing when and where they will be. After years of trailing the stars our collectors have built up a wealth of information and contacts. We have been on many of the hunt's ourselves and have shared some exciting encounters with the stars. We have a "gallery" of photos of us with some of the stars and stars signing items. We will regularly update the latest encounters our collectors have with the stars and their good and bad experiences.

Here are a few of their recent signings and where they were obtained.

SYLVESTER STALLONE was very grateful when our autograph hunter gave him a rare out of print personality poster from ?Rocky? that he liked, so he signed up a storm and unusually spelt out every letter of his name when he signed. Sometimes when stars are in a hurry they sign very quickly, but Sly took his time and was in good humour.

OMAR SHARIF arrived at LAX (airport) this last week for a rare visit and was besieged by collectors upon his arrival. He seemed a little taken aback by all the attention, but signed few pieces for each collector before saying ? I have to go, I am an old man?, which surprised our collectors as you don?t tend to think of Omar as being old.

MICHAEL COLLINS pilot of the original Apollo 11 moon landing, with Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, was at the Bonaventure Hotel for a space seminar titled ?Reunion of Experimental Test Pilots?. Mr. Collins is rarely seen and is considered somewhat reclusive, so collectors took full advantage of this rare appearance and he graciously signed.

LIZA MINELLI was very nice and friendly when approached by collectors after arriving at LAX and we got several items signed including some ?Cabaret? posters.

SALMA HAYEK is extremely fussy about which photographs she will sign. Salma often rejects signing a photo if She does not like the way She looks and can be known to sign only 2 or 3 in 10 photos presented. It strikes us as kind of funny as She looks fantastic in any photo.

JON VOIGHT is another great signer and very courteous to fans.

JOHNNY CARSON was at the famous Dan Tanna?s restaurant in Los Angeles on a rare excursion from his home community of Malibu and signed whilst waiting to collect his Mercedes from the valet. Also dining at Dan Tanna?s that very same evening was none other than

CLINT EASTWOOD, another good signer.

KIRK DOUGLAS has been generously donating playground equipment to schools in the LA area and has attended many dedication ceremonies. Our guys have been there armed with great photos and items for Kirk to sign and he has graciously done so on most occasions. He really is a true pro and very obliging especially considering his years.

PAUL McCARTNEY was attending a private DVD party and screening at the "Arclight Movie Theatre" and one of our intrepid collectors snuck in and waited until the end after Paul had thanked everyone and managed to get a photo signed.

MICHAEL J. FOX has been a willing signer at LAX airport.

KEVIN COSTNER was obliging at a celebrity golf tournament held at "Pebble Beach". His autograph has actually improved over the years, he always used to sign just K and then a line, but now it is quite clear.

OLIVIA DE HAVILAND was staying at the "Beverly Hilton" and our collectors waited very patiently for hours for her to leave for the 2003 Academy Awards.

HARRISON FORD was spotted at a grocery store in Beverly Hills where he went in for twenty minutes and when he emerged was shocked to be greeted by two of our collectors, but signed anyway.

JOHN TRAVOLTA rolled down his car window at the NBC driveway for an appearance on "The Tonight Show" and happily signed. John has always been one of the best signers and is very good to his fans.

DUSTIN HOFFMAN was spotted walking around the streets of Brentwood and our collectors descended and got several items signed.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER is regularly spotted taking lunch at various popular restaurants in LA and mostly will sign. Sometimes he is in a bad mood and will not sign, but we cannot complain as he is generally nice.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS was at a golf tournament in Las Vegas and our collectors followed him on a tremendously hot day and were awarded with several good signatures.

CLINT EASTWOOD was cornered leaving an Italian restaurant in LA and signed for all the collectors.

MICHAEL CAINE had arrived from London and signed at LAX airport.

PETER O'TOOLE was elusive when he came on a rare visit to LA for the 2003 Academy Awards. Our collectors followed him throughout the entire city and finally caught up with him at a world famous Hollywood landmark where he signed.
