Secure connections and encryption
When you choose to “Proceed to checkout” your
payment and personal details are entered across a secure connection
that uses a 40 bit certificate supplied by VeriSign. Verisign
is a DIgital Certificate Authority that provides authentication
allowing internet merchants and others a means to assure their
internet customers that they are who they say they are.
When you choose to “Confirm order” the information
is then sent encrypted using a 40 bit certificate supplied
by VeriSign and cannot be read by anyone other than ourselves.
Encryption is a process that involves scrambling the information
you send in such a fashion that it becomes unreadable by anyone
trying to intercept your transaction information. Everything
in the transaction is encrypted, your name, address, credit
card number, everything

You can see that the pages are secure because the address in the
address bar changes from being http:// to https:// (s for secure).
You will also see a padlock symbol or key in the bottom bar of your
browser.
Using the website without a credit card
If you do not want to enter your credit card details on the website,
proceed with your order as normal, but when asked “How do
want to pay?”, select “Order Form for Post, Fax or Phone”.
You do not need to enter any credit card details. Complete the order
form and phone us with your credit card details on 01935 811000,
International +44 1935 811000 or fax the order form to 01935 811002,
or International +44 1935 811002. Alternatively send the order form
together with a cheque to:
